"We have employed Sarah from Green Scene since September 2012. Over the last four terms, she has worked mainly with Year 5 pupils, teaching small groups about the natural environment with a practical, hands-on approach in the grounds of our very urban school. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and have learnt a great deal (including an appreciation of the natural world). She also runs an after school club – these enthusiasts have been busy growing plants and transforming the school grounds. They have been taken on visits e.g to plant bulbs in the community and to work at a Community Kitchen Garden.

Sarah is very thrifty; she is keen to re-cycle and re-use so costs are kept to a minimum. She also works closely with our Eco-schools coordinator.

I would certainly recommend Green Scene to other schools as Sarah has provided a very professional, reliable service. Her positive attitude, subject knowledge and enthusiasm have been greatly appreciated."
